Get Your Head out the Sand:
Vote Campaign
This interactive, nonpartisan voting campaign was
designed to encourage voter registration among
college students. Instead of framing voting as a
moral obligation, the project focused on personal
agency and the real consequences of choosing
action over inaction.
The installation invited participants to physically
engage by removing tickets labeled “voter” or
“non-voter,” allowing me to track participation
and passivity in real time.
The project used interaction and data collection
to make an abstract civic issue feel immediate
and personal on campus.
